(Zion, IL) A cabbie in Zion was too tough for his attacker even after being shot five times over the weekend. Forty-four-year-old Patrick Foster took bullets to his face, neck and back at close range Saturday from a small-caliber, five-shot revolver. Zion police found the gun in the cab's back seat. Foster reportedly pinned the gunman beneath him until police could arrive. He's was then rushed to the hospital, where he is listed in critical but stable condition. Darryel Garner of Waukegan was charged with attempted murder and aggravated battery with a firearm. The 38-year-old is being held on 750-thousand dollars bond.
